What's the approximate weight of 6 dried apricots?

I'm doing a project for nutrition class. I need help figuring out how many ounces 6 dried apricots weigh (no seeds). Thanks!

Oh, if it helps, these are the apricots I'm looking at: http://shop.safeway.com/dnet/RichProduct...

You gave a broken link. Are you using 6 whole apricots, or (more likely) 6 half apricots.

I live in Santa Clara County in California and am familiar with apricots, dried apricots, and the drying process. I would estimate one fresh apricot weighs between 2 to 3 ounces. To dry it, you cut it in half and remove the pit. Sun dry during the day, and sulfur it at night. After the liquid has been removed, it should weigh around 1/2 to 1/3 of fresh weight. So figuring the average weight (less pit) of a whole 'cot is about 2 1/4 ounce and each half will lose weight during drying, each half probably weighs around 5/8 to 3/4 of an ounce.
