If your skin is dry yet you are still having acne i think that you might be overwashing your face, making it dry out but overproduce sebum and giving you pimples.

I use St Ives scrub, i think its the invigorating one, for combination skin. make sure u choose a gentle scrub formula. the walnut in it just acts as a bit of a face scrub, and it feels really nice. only use it once a day though, i think using scrub more often isnt going to help your skin that much.

Also i highly recommend Nivea moisturizers, me and my family love them and they dont affect your acne, in fact i think it makes mine better. i use Aqua Sensation morning and night.

good luck :)

oh and for the other wash of the day, i just use a facewipe, but just a gentle wash also i think is good.
Reply:your number 1 priority right now has to be to tell your dermatologist how the gel has affected you. he might ask you to come back or he might give you another perscription. the worst thing you can do right now is use another cleanser without knowing how it will affect you. ask your dermatologist if he thinks it is okay to use St Ives. Hope this helps!
Reply:I haven't used St Ives. I am 31 %26amp; still have trouble with acne. I guess my face has never been clear or flawless. My acne has not been 'bad' since I was a teenager, but it is discouraging when you still have acne at my age.

I started using Avon's Clearskin cleanser, astringent (toner), Correct %26amp; Fade Peel pads, the spot treatment, and the Avon Solutions True Pore-Fection face lotion about a month ago. My skin is clearing up better than it has in years.

The True Pore-Fection line is oil free so the moisturizer would be great for you. It is for people with acne prone or oily skin.

Go to this site %26amp; look at the products. You can read reviews from other people who use it. I don't know if they will work for you, but they definately work for me.

Good Luck!
