Where can I get a pug puppy?

I have been looking everywhere for a reasonably priced fawn or apricot coloured pug puppy. I don't want to breed it or show it, it will just be a pet so I'm not too fussed about it coming from accredited breeders. The best price I have found so far is 800 pounds but I haven't got this kind of money. Can anyone help?

Where can I get a pug puppy?
On ePupz, pug crosses are from £150 - some of the crosses look gorgeous ... the lowest priced actual pug puppies that I saw were £600 (up in Yorkshire) but they weren't kc registered.

You might get a registered pedigree Pug adult for under £800 though (there are some for sale on ePupz) or perhaps you could check with Pug Welfare to see what might be available:

and I don't know whether or not this site will be of any help:

Reply:Buying a "cheap" puppy from a breeder who is not reputable is like buying anything cheap. Generally you get what you pay for %26amp; a cheap puppy now could well mean expensive vet bills later. Get in touch with one of the Pug Breed Clubs. You'll probably have to wait for a well bred puppy so you can save up in the meantime.

Reply:Contact the RSPCA. They will put you in touch with the Pug rescue centre.
Reply:in a newpaper add which it has a lot of helpful shelters.
Reply:We bought a pug puppy in Buffalo,MO from a good breeder. The pug (fawn color) was $300

Never ever buy a puppy online without actually meeting the owners and the dog and make sure they have all the certificates. Try the pug shelter, or ring the RSPCA and Battersea dog and cat home and ask if they have any pugs. Or if you see anyone who owns a pug why not ask them if they could give their breeders number?

If a puppy is selling cheap thats a sign there could be something wrong with the puppy and that the breeders are not good breeders. It could end up costing you a lot of money with vet bills and heartache.
