I want to put a faux finish on an endtable.?

The center of the tabletop (the largest part, about 90%) is done in real marble, sort of an apricot with bits of white. My cat has clawed the wood edges of the table very badly, but I want to salvage it somehow. What sort of finish can I do there? I would also probably do it to the bottom shelf and the legs as well (all wood). Thanks.

Reply:You can do almost anything.

Stores like Lowe's have all kinds of stuff avaliable.

Hobby Lobby Craft Stores,Michael's also.

Your cats like the coolness of the marble.

Their body temps are higher than ours.

About 113 degrees most of the time!
