What cleanser is best for preventing acne?

Ok well i used pro activ and it did clear my face up for a little but really made my face extremely dry. I now use St.ives apricot scrub. I was wondering if any one has any suggestions on which cleanser I can use that will work great and not dry out my skin. I hear neutrogena works good(but they have sooo many acne washes). Please provide exact name of product.

St. Ives apricot scrub is a good cleanser, but it won't clear or prevent acne. You need a medicated wash (look for one with benzoyl peroxide and/or salicylic acid). I've used Clean and Clear continuous control for years, and I don't break out, but I never really had a problem with blemishes, just an occasional one before I started using it.

Reply:I use AcneFree. The kit contains a cleanser, a toner, and a moisturizer. It does not dry out my skin and I think it works very well. I also use Clinique 'dramatically different moisturizing gel/lotion' (it's yellow) That works well too. You should consider switching to AcneFree or use the Clinique as a moisturizer.
Reply:Just recently I have started using Natures cure acne treatment. It has homeopathic(natural)pills and vanishing cream. I have been using it for about a month now, and I can tell that it is working. Within a week I saw a difference. Make sure that if you do use this not to go over board on the cream because it will dry you out. Some more tips: don't touch your face often. The oils from your hands get on your face. I break out mostly around my chin because I rest my head on my palms and stuff, so do not do that! Hope that this will work for you!
