i have oily acne prone skin,,, but i finalli got it under control by using: BenzaClin at nite (pimple medicine), oil free olay cream and st.ives, and also another cleanser that is way milder ..... so im worried that using it 2 times will be too much for my skin :

|Definitely only once a day at the most!! Allure Confessions of a Beauty Editor recommends using an exfoliant such as st. ives apricot scrub only twice per week!! It could be hard on your skin if you have sensitive skin!
If it has been working well for you once a day, it should be fine...just use a milder cleanser at night, doing too much for your skin is often worse than doing nothing at all!

Reply:If your acne is under control currently, I wouldn't risk adding another product. You don't want to dry your skin out, or remove the lipid barrier and cause it to be more susceptible to outside factors (regarding not just acne). If you aren't already using it, I wouldn't start. If you are, don't change what you are currently doing unless your skin begins to react in a negative way.
Reply:I also use St Ives blackhead and blemish control which works real well for me. You'll want to use it less than usual so at least 2 times a week. If you use it more than once a day you can dry out the face which can cause break outs and worsen the skin. I only use mine 2 times week. Good Luck.
Reply:I would probaby usually once every other day. You don't want to dry out your skin since it is sort of like an exfoliator.
