Need suggestions on good beers?

I need you, the people to help me here, I am trying to expand my beer horizons. My taste gravitates toward Hefeweizen, Blue Moon and maybe some lighter beers, and I really like Pyramid Apricot Ale too. Sam Adams is too hoppy for me, Sierra Nevada (Extra Pale) is too bitter... Any suggestions? I found this great unfiltered beer called Great White tonight.

Based on what you say you like, I suggest you add Hoegaarden to the list. A brilliant drink that outshines most of 'em...

Reply:NO doubt Hoegaarden is really good; but it has a peach or grapefruit taste that I like , but, i prefer an orange flavor to my hefeweizen[s]. try Paulaner Hefeweizen from Germany or Franziskaner Hefe - [also from Germany] . both are Awesome! Paulaner is a bit more pricy; but is my all time favorite beer. i don't care for apricots , but Pyramid also makes a good [regular] hefeweizen. can live without Blue Moon.
Reply:Gordon Biersch Dunkelweizen is a dark wheat bear that you'd probably enjoy.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest isn't very hoppy and is one of my favorite beers of all time.

Also check out Chimay Red. Hoppiness is pretty low, flavor is high. Not very cheap though.
Reply:It is hard to get, unless your in the Bahamas, but "Kalik" (The Beer of The Bahamas) ia amazing.
Reply:You have to get your hands on some Yengling.... its the best beer I've ever had and I am a Miller lite, Budweiser kinda guy. Its different but simply delicous!
