Is it true that St. Ives apricot scrub is NOT for daily use?

Is it true that St. Ives apricot scrub is NOT for daily use???

I have asked a question about how to get a clear skin, and most people recomended to use St. Ive apricot scrub. But then one person said that its not for daily use.

Is that true? because I really want to try it out and I need something that I could use every day.

Will it dry out my skin really badly if i use it every day???

Thanks

Using an abrasive daily will damage your skin. Depending on skin type, use it once to twice a week.

For daily cleansing, use a mild cleanser, liquids are usually pretty gentle. All major manufactures have a brand on the market. Be specific for your skin type. Try different ones and use what works best. You can often get free samples if you visit their websites and request them.

And always use a moisturizer. Even if you have oily skin. Using a cleanser and moisture helps balance the skin. Again, with moisturizers, check around and get samples.
Reply:I read somewhere that scrubs with exfoliating beads aren't good for daily use because they wear down the skin's surface strength and make it less firm. I don't know if I believe this (it is kinda' vague, isn't it?), but just in case I use the white Noxema cream that comes in a blue plastic canister. You can use that twice a day with no bad effects. Use a liquid with salacytic acid once every few days if the Noxema isn't strong enough to keep the acne at bay. However, salacytic acid products can be drying, so I don't use them daily.
Reply:Really that stuff isnt for oily skin. The little beads bring up more oil out of the skin to the surface thus drying out the bottom layer and making the top layer pimply and oily. i wouldnt use this all. I like the brand clinique the three step system is brillant They will figure out your skin type and get you the right type of 3-step. Sorry the question you asked wasnt answered by me.
Reply:Even though it says for daily use, it's not a good idea to use a scrub every day. Your skin is very delicate, and constant use of an abrasive will eventually damage it. Try every three days.
Reply:You can't use any scrub more then 1-2 times a week, or it can make irritation on your skin and even more problems like Rosacea. Instead of scrub try to find good face wash with natural ingredients...

And in general I Not recommend you to use cheap cosmetic products like that if you what to have a good and healthy skin.. If you want an advise about good skin care products let me know.
Reply:hu?
Reply:I am reading it off the bottle now. Yes it is safe for daily use.
Reply:I use it every day- it is not drying at all, I think for some people it is a bit harsh because it exfoliates every day (little ground up seeds in it really scrub at your skin) but I think my skin feels great after I use it!
Reply:On the bottle it says for daily use. Do what works for you, even if you have to moisterise after usage.
