I've used apricot scrub for years, and I just found out it's probably not helping the capillaries around my nose and cheeks. I'm totally clueless on what to use. Any suggestions?
What kind of face washes are best for skin with broken capillaries?
Gentle cleansers are the best. IPL treatments, or Photofacials really work well if you ever want to get rid of them. If you want something affordable, go with Cetaphyl cleansers. make sure you moisturize and wear sunblock! Broken capillaries can get worse from irritation (possibly your scrub), and when the skin thins due to aging and sun damage. If you want to try a results line for facial redness, I recommend PCA Anti Redness Serum.
Reply:just a thought it might be wise to go to a dermo. and they can prescribe a cream or a scrub you can use. i know it's kind of costly but well worth it.
Reply:To be honest with you there is no good face wash for broken capillaries. But I have had problems with them all my life and I got them removed with a laser by my dermotologist. But, if you want to use a good face wash, use Obagi's gental cleanser. And to minimize broken capalaries use Vitamin K. I have used it for many years and the ones I still had are practically gone after a couple months of use.
Reply:I just got this stuff from Clinique that is specially designed for people with broken capillaries. Ive seen a big difference!! Its pricey but at the same time it works!
