How often should I use an exfoliating face scrub?

I posted a question about how exfoliating works, I know now how it works and how my skin benefits from it, thank you very much for all of your answers, but now I have another question.

So with my St. Ives Apricot Scrub, is it alright to use it everyday?

How often should I use an exfoliating face scrub?
That one is too rough for everyday - you will cause acne if you overuse. Every other day or 2-3 times a week is best.
Reply:yes it is. it is so good for your skin you should use it every morning and night. because while you sleep toxins are distributed out of your skin through every possible pore and that is why you need to wash your face in the morning because you don't want to have toxins on your face the entire day. so then after you put on you make-up and have it on you get tired and want to go to bed so you need to take off your make-up and exfoliate your pores. because what it does is open up your pores so while your sleeping the toxins can exit your body easily. you will find if you don't wash off your face or exfoliate it, you will break out. because all the make-up is doing is clogging your pores.
Reply:No.

Never use a scrub everyday unless you dilute it a lot.

Use every 2-4 days. I would recommend every 3.

Using it too much can make skin harsh/worse and the skin can start to become immune to it and stop recating to the scrub how you want it to.
Reply:Well, the brand you mentioned, I have used it. It is good for body like elbows and knees and feet but for face you need softer granulas in the scrub. If you are going to use any way do it once in 45 days.
Reply:I would say 2 times a week is enough

Any more than that would be overdoing it
Reply:yeah use it once a day every single day, especially if u have a greasy skin.

good luck
Reply:i'd say no, since exfoliating can be very drying.

try once a week, that should be fine.
Reply:that's what i do :)

and my face is baby soft

:)
Reply:yes. use it 1-2 times a day
