I want a Maltese toy bred with an Apricot Poodle..Where to find reliable breeder? I have 3yr old cat?

I want a dog just like Jessica Simpsons on The Newlyweds..Her dog Daisy is just the cutest dog.. it looks like my very first dog I had growing up and have decided to get one in the near future. I heard Jessica say in an interview her dog Daisy's parents were Maltese and Toy Apricot Poodle .. Where can I find a Maltipoo like this? Does anyone know a reliable breeder? I have a 3 yr old cat also how can I get them use to each other I was thinking of putting them in their separate carriers with the cages closed close but far to stare and get used to each other are there any techniques?

Go to any pound or shelter I am sure you can find something. Do not pay big bucks for a designer dog when so many dogs in shelters, rescues and pounds are waiting for homes.
Reply:Hahahaha......do you realize that every crossbreed looks different from each other?? Reliable breeders do not breed"designer dogs" that are the main reason for shelters and strays. And are you kidding?? Do you think animals LIKE to be kept in carriers?? Carriers are for carrying, not for animals to stare at each other!!! And even if they do stare, it's always a bad sign since staring means something very bad in the animal world.

Just go to the shelter and give a dog a home
Reply:DO NOT LOOK ON THE INTERNET!! That is where most puppy mills advertise. Be sure to go to the breeder's house prior to buying the dog. Study the signs of a puppy mill and check for signs when you go.

Good luck!
Reply:No reliable breeder will breed 2 breeds together to get a new "designer" dog. Look in the shelters and check the rescues to see if you can find what you are looking for.
Reply:if you put your cat in a carrier and leave it to stare at a strange dog all day it's not going to be happy no matter what. keep the pup in a carrier and let the cat investigate on it's own timetable. let them slowly get introduced to each other and always watch the pup and don't let it play rough with the cat. and i'm not even going to touch on you want a mixed breed mutt. there is no such "breed" as a maltipoo, all i'll have to say is if you buy from a breeder or pet store and pay hundreds for your mutt, you are the reason puppymills will always be in existance.
