Reply:If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Reply:Try proactive!!! It really does work. You may want to check your local mall. Some of the center vender's may have it, and it's not really as expensive as it seems on TV. I use it religiously, and I'm almost 30. It works great.
Reply:u know i havent tried it because i dont really get acne but almost all my friends have and it actually works u know that pro active thing i think that is what its called it works and my friend said that if ur skin start peeling that u need sunscreen while using proactive
Reply:don't use a scrub, it will open up acne and leave scars. use clearsil cleanser and follow up with a acne fighting cream.
Reply:ok you need acnefree, they sell it at like target and walmart, its a 3 piece set so you use the cleanser, then tonber then lotion, but it works soooo good and is gentle even for those with little acne to big acne, its gentle and soft on your skin, ya dont use st. Ives its crap for like old ladies. but you should use acnefree and if you dont have the money then you could use neutrogena daily face wash, it doesnt work as good, but wait!!! use CLEARASIL ULTA- ACNE SCRUB!that works so good in like 3 days too!
Reply:Clearasal with micro beads, it doesnt have that harsh benzoil that dries out your face causing more oil to come out your pores.
Reply:I use St. Ives. I think it works really good. Maybe try a different kind of St. Ives, they have different kinds.
Reply:you should try neutragena
Reply:I suggest Clean %26amp; Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser. It's great for people with minor acne
Reply:I agree with the first person to answer your question... I have 3 kids all in there teens and twenties who use Proactive and love the product. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. Sometimes they have specials, where you can get the system for $19.99. However the size of the bottles are travel size. Most malls sell it also, but I would try on-line first. St. Ives Apricot is a good product, but I would think it would irritate acne.

Hope Pro Active works for you too!

P.S. A much easier/ cheaper solution is to drink lots and lots of water every day. Try 8 - 8oz glasses of water a day and see if that might help. It flushes your body of toxins. Try and stay away from greasy fatty foods also.
Reply:NO not st ives i tried that it sux!!!

use biore' strips for the face and the biore' mask.

You can go to bath %26amp; body works and get the face wash Pure Simplicity!! it works for me
