Thanks

Is it ok for an 11 year old child to use an "st. Ives apricot cleanser:?
Yes its fine.. they even have gently foaming cleansers so you dont have to use the apricot scrub all the time.. they even have a formula for sensitive skin
Reply:Why would it not be okay?

I've been using that stuff since I started to get even the slightest bit of acne. And it also helped to wake me up in the morning.
Reply:Sure, if they want to, why not?
Reply:ya its totally okay as long as they dont rub too hard.
Reply:Its a well known brand and its actually good to start early .
Reply:ya but i would go with maybe a deeper and smoother one because i found that it made my skin really oily so if your skin is already, dont use it.
Reply:Because the cleanser contains walnut shells for exfoliating the skin, the product would be best used IF the child is already showing signs of acne. Otherwise, a more gentle cleanser would be best for the face until acne appears.
Reply:i don't see why it wouldnt be ok...
Reply:yes!if it didnt say anything on the back..

then yess the 11 year old can use it!
Reply:St Ives Apricot Scrub is much to rough for younger skins. Try to avoid overly rough scrubs because the uneven exfoliators (nutshells), scratch and tear at the skin. Try to find a synthetic scrub. Although this might sound strange because everybody seems to thing natural is best, it is not always the best. Man made chemicals are of then more balanced than natural ones. Man made scrubs also contain perfectly circular synthetic scrubbing balls that do not irritate the skin. Remember, when exfoliating, dont rub to hard, and only exfoliate once a week. Over exfoliating can lead to premature breakdown and thinning of the skin. Also avoid it if you have acne because the rough particles can irritate pimples and cause them to swell from irritation and over cleansing. This scrub also contains sodium laureth sulfate, a cheap, yet harsh cleanser, unfortunately used in many personal care items
Reply:No. Walnut shells are really rough on everyone's skin. It's not really good for the face. There are better exfoliating products out there. Look for ones with bead-shaped scrub particles, not jagged shell pieces.
Reply:use it for what?
Reply:If you are 11, then you shouldn't be here.

Read the bottle's directions. If it says 12 and younger NO, then don't.

The creators of the product knows the best.
Reply:yes u can
Reply:no absoluetley not! they are nothing but the shell of the nut

all it does is scratch your face.
Reply:i would think so. i nvr have 2 worry about zits w/ that stuff.
Reply:Sure! Its never to soon to teach a young child how to care for their skin! It's the only skin they get so they have to know how to treat it and care for it.
