Does that Saint Ives Apricot Scrub really work?

I just started using it does it really work??

Does that Saint Ives Apricot Scrub really work?
yes it is a good product as long as you dont use it more than twice a week...but a less expensive alternative is to use plain old baking soda!!!!!!!! put some in palm of your hand, add water a few drops at a time until it's a paste, then massage all over your face..........rinse rinse rinse with COOL not cold water, and youre all set!!
Reply:Ive used it for awhile and it does work......Just use it once or twice a week though.
Reply:yes but be careful not to scrub, the granules are harsh.
Reply:I like to use the medicated blue one, but I've used both. I think the important part of using this product effectively is to only use it once or twice a week as an exfoliant. Using it every day can cause irritation, especially if you have bemishes, and counteract the good you're trying to do. During the off days, use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil.
Reply:it is a great product. i have been using it for years. just be sure to get the right one for your skin type.
Reply:I use it twice a week and I've noticed a considerable change in my skin since I started using it. It really seems to brighten my complexion. I use it before cleaning with a salicylic acid cleaner, like Neutrogena Acne Wash, and then I follow with a moisturizer after my shower. If you follow this regimen, you should notice a huge reform in your skin!
Reply:I used to use St. Ives, but then I started using an astringent and noticed that the scrub was leaving a lot of makeup still on my face! Yuck! It is good as a scrub, but not as the only cleanser. I would suggest using a more effective cleanser and then using the scrub as needed for a good exfoliation.
Reply:I have some but the walnuts in it can sometimes scratch places where the skin is thin (like under your eyes). It also seems to dry my skin more. I like the sugar and oil scrubs you can find now at bath and body works.
Reply:no
Reply:Yes, but you have to be careful with that one. The scrub can be harsh, so if you decide to use it you will want to make sure you add plenty of water and do not scrub at all. Just use your fingertips in small circles over your face and neck
Reply:Well you see the models for commercials are really not using that stuff. They are simply using wax or something so you never know by commercials
Reply:ohh yess I love it ! but I use it every other day and use a foaming fash wash ( like dove) on the off days just so not to get overly dry

but whatever you do don't buy the store brand it sucks, smells bad and is really hard on you r skin
Reply:yes it works! i use it only twice a week thoguh. but i love it! good for arms and legs too =D
Reply:yes it does, but you will need a moisturizer to put on your face after using it. and only use it once a week or so . have a great new year!
Reply:Its ok for for the face as it is pretty gentle, however for the body its a bit too light. Better off with a more coarse scrub for the body , Innoxas mineral spa is soooooo goood!! its rrp$19.95 AU at local pharmacies.
Reply:Yes, the St. Ives products are great.
Reply:It is great!

I use it all the time!

It is such a good exfoliant! It is so gentle (well...you need to be gentle with it), and it keeps my skin so clean and soft! I LOVE IT! Keep using it and you will not be disapointed!
Reply:I use it at least once a week and I love it. I'm 43 years old and people don't believe that I'm that old because my skin looks so good. It's great stuff.
Reply:I personally don't use it, but my wife swears by it.
Reply:works good for me.
Reply:it cleansed my face well. I think it's a good product. It removes dead cells and makes my compexion nice. I stopped using it though because it left a lot of grittiness in my shower. Now I use the Noxema Foaming Face Wash and love it.
