Depends, if his health testing was done, and he was registered legitimately, and was absolutely gorgeous, I would put up a webpage for him.. If he had nothing done, and wasn't even worth it..an embarassment to the breed.... I guess the newspaper. But to save myself that embarassment, I would neuter him... And enjoy him myself as a wonderful apricot companion..

you wouldn't have to advertise if your apricot poodle was of breeding quality... show your dog or neuter
Reply:humm the usual method is to take him out, do thing with him: show, obedience, agility- take your pick. Put happy boastful adds in the breed newsletter at every accomplisment.
Reply:After the dog has completed his AKC championship, (the showring is the proving ground for breeding quality), responsible breeders who have admired him and STUDIED HIS PEDIGREE, (the genetic history of a dog), will approach you to use him as stud on their females who have been similarly proven. You will never have to advertise.
