I don't see why apricot scrubs would prevent acne.
Do you think body wash with apricot scrubs help prevent acnes?
I use that Apricot scrub on my face to take away the oils and dead skin, and it works really well.
Reply:yes, such as St. Ives apricot scrub works real good. or try clean and clear. but if u want specific for face. try Purpose, its feels really light and is soap free
Reply:You may want to try a scrub with finer granules. I'm guessing you want to exfoliate your skin. Try a scrub with finer granules. Also, use this technique:
1-soap up with your gel, rinse
2-use your scrub w/really fine granules
3-soap up with your gel again to wash away the residue
4-use a good moisturiaing lotion to put moisture back in your skin and reduce irritation.

Reply:yes and help soothe the skin
Reply:The best solution I ever found was to use shampoo as your face wash. Shampoo is designed to get the oils that your hair produces under control. They are the very same oils that are on your face. So when you're washing your hair, take some of the suds and put them on your face. And wash. Doing this and washing your hair every day will go a long way to preventing acne.
Reply:St Ives has a medicated apricot scrub that has salicylic acid. my daughter uses it because my dermathologist suggested it and it works very well. Just remember to be gentle to your skin when applying a scrub.
