St. Ives Blemish and blackhead control scrub? (apricot)?

I dont have acne, but I am startieng to break out for the first time in months.(Been eating more junk food)

Will it work to keep my skin clear? I use the apricot cleanseer in the morn and i plan on using the scrub at night (i moisturize too)

It will work just as well as anything else. Keep your face clean and moisturize. A lot of people forget to moisturize thinking its going to make their face oily. It keeps your face from drying out - which can cause breakouts, too. Stay hydrated and unfortunately - a lot of it has to do with hormones!
Reply:Tried that, exactly that actually. Apricot cleanser in the morning, apricot scrub at night, moisturize afterwards. The only thing that did for my skin was make it drier than when I started. It did nothing for my acne. Of course, it didn't make me break out worse, but it didn't really do anything so it was just a waste of time and money.
Reply:It works pretty well but use it like you would a regular exfoliator, Its too harsh for your skin to be using everyday. Use it twice a week.

Try using the Apricot Deep Cleansing Cream wash for Blackheads and Blemishes twice a day. Its less harsh, so use it has your regular cleanser.

Reply:i used st ives apricot scrub for about 3 years...and after i started working for Prescriptives...i found out that its really not good for your pores.....the harsh edges around the beads cuts your pores making them bigger...i would suggest...either Prescriptives face scrub or clinique....something with round beads....it works just as good and is better for you.
Reply:no it won't, i've tried multiple products from St. Ives, %26amp; it didn't work for me. I suggest you use something from a makeup line (like.... Estee Lauder?) specifically targeted for ur skin type.
