Does st. ives apricot scrub (blemish %26amp; blackhead control) work better than other acne meds in your opinion?
i dont know the product but 1st of all having "acne" as you say, you shouldnt be experimenting with different products or acneproduct treat your skin for oilyness, once it starts feeling dryer in 2 or 3 weeks treat it for dryness, oilyness is the main cause of acne, your pores are to big and is secreting to much waste therefore when you sweat, it just goes back into the pores, make sure you are cleansing toning and moisturising no more than 2wice a day otherwise you will strip your skin of even more acids. remember dont ever use a bar of soap on your body or your face, it is a bar therefore it is very concentrated with chemicals and it strips your acid mantle (acid mantle protects you from skin cancer and acne etc) - stay away and gud luck
Reply:yes tons better
Reply:I personally believe that Aveeno is a great skin product. And it's quite affordable also! I started using it a month ago. I had over-used a product, and my face was burned (chemically). So I used Aveeno senstitive skin. It healed my face, while at the same time keeping acne away.
Reply:yes, it works great and I swear by it! i use it every 3 days or so, that's when i can tell the blackheads are out of my skin...i use the stuff in the orange tube, not the gentle scrub. then i use biore face wash and i use clinique emergency mud mask on pesky pimples. i always get compliments on my beautiful skin!
Reply:Not really for me, just the pills from my dr really works...
Reply:Yea the St Ives brand apricot scrub also has a medicated one (in a white tube), that actually works better than the original scrub, and also better than prescription scrubs, because it is natural and less harsh, and wont dry out your skin. But i don't know if you want to exfoliate daily. I would use a foaming face wash every day and a scrub only every other day or about 3 days a week.
Reply:I've tried it and it didn't help. What works best for me is the nuetrogena stuff.
