Why is a cure for cancer (in apricot seeds) being hidden from Americans?

Think of it from the standpoint of a business that is trying to make money... if everyone was cured, noone would need to buy these drugs that just give the "placebo effect".

Reply:Because diseases and illness of all types =equals= big profits for everyone. Everyone, from pharmaceuticals laboratories, to television advertising the drugs, to drug stores selling them, to doctor's prescribing them, to so called non-profit organizations collecting money for it, and the list goes on. It's a huge ring of people that wouldn't have jobs, otherwise.
Reply:This was popular many years ago, and Americans went to Mexico for treatment with the derivative from apricot seeds or peach pits.



It is bogus, it doesn't work. It took a lot of people's money and robbed them of proper medical treatment that might have helped them.

Reply:Maybe because it's not proven. The Food %26amp; Drug Administration (FDA) regulates claims that are made about, well, food and drugs. They are pretty strict about claims made for cures, for the good of consumers.
