Having 4 little pimples is not the same as acne. But if you use any harsh exfoliant scrub, it will spread the bacteria all over your face and you could get acne. I suggest you use a creamy exfoliant and not the grainy exfoliant with the micro scrubbers. If you rub your skin too hard with it you could irritate and dry out your skin, and again...you will spread bacteria all over your face. Hyperpigmentation or acne scars will eventually go away but you need to exfoliate your skin twice a week to increase the skin cell renewal rate and this is very important : USE A MOISTURIZER WITH SPF when you go outside. Make sure to reapply.
Reply:for the pigmentation actually you would wanna use something like a microdermabrasion cream. the crystals that are in that are a little more intensly formulated for that kinda thing. also if that doesn't sound good, there is this product by clinique i forgot the name but it helps to correct discolorations on the skin.

and for the acne if you only have like 4 little pimples just use whatever you may have on hand. i dont really know your skin type or anything but yeah.. good luck
Reply:The apricot scrub might help fade the pigmentation flaws over time, but it probably will just piss the zits on your face off. It's main purpose is to exfoliate dead skin, not draw excess oil out of it. Your best bet is something with salicylic acid as the active ingredient, like an astringent.
Reply:Absolutes not don't ever ever use an abrasive on active acne it will cause you to have scars after. Use a spot treatment that has Retinol A in it or just go old school and use toothpaste to dry the pimples up that works that's a home made spot treatment.
Reply:In terms of the pimples, I love my St. Ives scrub--it's very helpful and does not dehydrate my skin like other exfoliating scrubs.

As for the hyper pigmentation, I'm not totally sure, but I suppose it couldn't hurt.
Reply:Use Himalaya Neem facewash. It works very well. Use it twice daily if you need to. You can buy it at most medical shops and also of course any Himalaya store.
Reply:Scrubs are good no matter what, just DONT overuse them use it every 3+ days no less or you could actually break-out more.
Reply:ya it will. i say use it.
