How damaging it using the acne/blemish st. eves apricot scrub everyday?

Its the toughest one they've got and ive been using it on my stomache everyday lol its a bit weird but its cos i got a scar their and it apparently works on blemishes and i use bio-oil to help the scar go away too and it has been working but not fully gone yet. What im wondering is is using this scrub everyday damaging? Any side effects? Will the skin restore itself?? Any feedback....?

Reply:it's perfectly fine to exfoliate your skin gently everyday. There're always dead skin cells to get rid of anyway. To get rid of your scar, you can try activa condolisa scar heal. It works for accident/surgical/ or naturally caused scars.
Reply:I wouldn't use scrubs vigorously everyday because if you stimulate your skin too much you can lose elasticity. Just be gentle with it.
Reply:it is not damaging what it is doing in geting rid of all the dead skin cells on your face but for it to have a full affect you need to use it twice a day, and always put moisturiser on after or your skin will go dry.
Reply:no not at all all St. Ives products are mild and besides its made for your face which is why it's milder. Im not sure though if it helps in scar removal..
Reply:Using the scrub on your scar every day is probably decreasing the effectiveness of the bio oil. And using a scrub on any part of your skin more than twice a week can remove new skin cells and sensitise and irritate your skin.

Be very gentle, if you think exfoliating your scar helps it heal, only do it twice a week. The Bio Oil is much more effective.
