my hair is brown but changes color sometimes its light and sometimes it dark

Yes.

Any light colour besides extremely blond contrast with the brown making it look amazing. Especially in the light/sun.

Reply:Well, it's been my experience that anything in the "apricot" family will undoubtedly turn orange, especially if you're doing it yourself from a box. Orange streaks on dark brown hair look extremely fake. What I would do would be to highlight with a lighter brown color, or even a dark blonde that will give you dimension, but will look more natural. Good luck!

Reply:I, personally, dont like people with dark hair putting in light color highlights. To me it seems that they are trying to make their hair stick out way more than the rest of them. It just seems to have too great of a diffrence between colors.

Reply:With dark brown hair, I think apricot won't work - too light, and too orange.

Try a bit darker - copper, or caramel highlights.
