Milk or Dark chocolate on peanut butter and apricots?

I'm making chocolate peanut butter balls and dipped apricots, and will be using only ONE chocolate for both. What would you prefer and why? Thanks!

Milk or Dark chocolate on peanut butter and apricots?
Either will work. It depends on how sweet you′d like your dessert to be (i assumed they are for dessert). Milk chocolate tends to be sweeter than dark chocolate.

If I could use both kinds, i would use milk on the peanut butter and dark on the apricots, cause peanut butter already has a strong taste and it might be a good idea to lighten that down, and the apricots are sweet so a little contrast with a stronger taste would be nice.

However, if you can only use one type of chocolate, I would go for the dark one. I think it would make a better contrast taste for both peanut butter and apricots.

I hope it works !!!.. and save me a bite !!!
Reply:Dark. There enough sweetness in peanut butter and apricots already. Besides you are dipping, which means a thin coat, I'd go with dark to really make the chocolate taste pop. That said... white chocolate and appricots is a great combination.
Reply:Dark chocolate rules. I guess you know what I am going to recommend. But as to why would be that dark choc. has a more natural taste. Which is complimented well with peanut butter. I can't say i have tried the apricots but I know that dark is great on strawberries
Reply:neither. why -grossssssssssssssssss
Reply:Milk chocolate would taste better, the dark chocolate is a little bitter and your fruit doesn't need that.Hope this helps....Life is GOOD......
Reply:I think the dark. It has the antioxidants and will cut the richness of the peanut butter. I think it will be better for your recipe.
