Will St. Ives Apricot Scrub be too harsh on my face..?

if Clean%26amp;Clear morning burst was harsh on my skin and made it dry/rough/flaky? Would I be better off with the Apricot facial cleanser or Neutrogena daily invigorating daily facial cleanser?

Will St. Ives Apricot Scrub be too harsh on my face..?
Yes, it is too harsh. The apricot scrub is made with ground up apricot pits, which actually make microscopic tears in your skin. You'd be better off with a gentler cleanser, and if you need a scrub, get one with round beads that won't damage your skin like the St. Ives one will. If your skin gets dry and flaky, also use a good moisturizer.
Reply:i used that clean and clear stuff once and my face FREAKED OUT. i mean, i had to skip school because my eyes were swollen shut. it was gross. anyway, what i'm saying is.. i have sensitive skin. and ever since that day i have been using Neutrogena Extra Gentle Moisturizing Cleanser for sensitive skin and it keeps my skin clear and soft without irritating it at all. i love it :)
Reply:Im sure it would be. Just get the little face scrubber.
Reply:I had the same problem with the C%26amp;c morning burst cleanser. I also have both the St Ives apricot scrub and the cream cleanser (sample packs) and although the scrub works well in cleansing and doesn't irritate my skin i find it feels really rough even when i rub it in softly, it's like sandpaper. So i prefer the cleanser and only use the scrub every few days. I've heard good things about Neutrogena though.
Reply:I would stick to using it on your body. Only use facial washes for your face.
Reply:i don;t beleive in facial scrubs. Try Cetaphil lotion, it is a gentle cleanser and does not strip your skin,
Reply:i think you posted before and i recommended this but it shouldnt be to harsh on your skin its like lotion with sand stuff in it just DONT rub really hard just get your face wet and use a tiny bit like a nickel size or something and just rub it gently in youll be fine as long as you dont SCRUB it in just gently rub iwth water and wash it off gently
Reply:the apricot scrub would be wonderful on face and body if you use it once a week only.
