What is the most effective way to get rid of blackheads on your nose?

I've tried using clean%26amp;clear and st. ives apricot scrub, but nothing seems to work. help!

Have you tried the Biore nose strips??? Go to the Biore website and browse the nose strips. These actually work by pulling out all of the residue that has built up in your pores. Also try a great toner after you cleanse. It removes all of the oil and residue left behind after you have cleansed your face. It tighten the pores also, leaving you with a less greasy nose. I like the Clinique Clarifying Lotion! Go to the Clinique website and click on "My Skin Report" to find out your skin type. Or if you are on a budget, just try some Sea Breeze brand from Wal-Mart. Reply:For a short-term fix, try Biore pore strips; as they dry, they adhere to the gunk in the pores, and pull it out when you remove the strips. It doesn't stop it from building up in the first place, but not really sure anything does.

Reply:you can get black head removers (actually they're pretty much the same thing as a bobby pin and bobby pins are probably much cheaper) but you have to be careful that you don't permanently stretch or damage your pores. you can also use those biore strips that you wet down then stick to your nose and peel off, they get out a lot. what i've found works the best is using a black head remover for larger ones and then cleaning my nose with toner and putting spot acne treatment on my entire nose (i use the clean and clear advantage spot treatment) before i go to bed. the acne treatment helps break down oils and bacteria that are clogging the pores.
