We have some fruit at my house, and my younger sister wanted to feed her hamster it. I told her to wait so I can ask.

Is it safe to feed hamsters apricots or watermelons?
Feed only a very small amount like a treat and only every once and awhile too much sugar and some hamsters can become diabetic.
Sometimes I give mine some apple. But you can do lettuce, and carrots too.
Reply:hmm Ive never done that but they love blueberries, and raspberries for sure!!
Reply:I think that they can eat bananas and apples. I am not sure if they can eat the watermelons.

You are doing the right thing by researching the answer before feeding your hamster anything that you are not sure of!
