How do I dry apricots? Need help soon....?

I couldn't find many links on how to do this? Does anyone have any experience? Currently the weather here only goes upto 78F, but that's not enough sun to dry. So, is it possible to dry in oven? If yes, how long should they be in there? We just have a lot of fruit this season on our apricot tree and it's so sweet that we want to dry and preserve. If you are going to send some recipe to dry, please send it in detail (hours in oven etc.) Thanks a bunch!

Once you have done this, try doing purple grapes to make raisens...Yummy!
Reply:You can get a "food dehydrator", either new or often at a thrift store. It's basically like a hair dryer that sticks into a stack of plastic trays. The important thing about drying fruit is that they have to dry at a low heat for a long time. If you use the oven it will probably cook them too fast and make them all sticky.

Or you could make jam! I just made loquat jam tonight and it's great. There's a special setting on my bread machine.
