Does St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub for Oily or Acne Prone Skin work?
yes it does work. I use the st.ives and it is great!! I have oily skin and a few areas that are dry and it wipes them both out. But i do notice that at time around my nose area it will get really shiny after using it. Another great face cleanser for oily and acne prone skin is Anew Retroactive 2 in 1 cleanser by avon. It has a tingling effect and works wonders for your skin. You will notice the difference in 2 days!!
Reply:I dunno but i'd like to know the answer to this too.
Reply:my doctor told me not to use this. she said it tears your pores and makes your skin really unhealthy. i would not use this. use any face wash with disolving beads. they dont tear your pores and it makes your face really clean
Reply:for acne best thing is baby wipes used them for years.......no zits
Reply:I luv it!!! it really all depends on wut kinda skin u have. if you have acne, i would suggest pro-active. Ive seen it clean faces within dayz and its fast. st.ives is totally great! it takes a day or 2, but so does every other brand of face wash. i luv this stuf, so try it. Youve go nothing to lose other then black heads zits and pimples! g2g good luk!!!
Reply:I have used it... it is too rough for the face... I use it now as a whole body scrub. It may cause your pimples to bleed. I recommend washing your face with Noxema twice everyday. If you want a scrub, look for something finer grain... Anything from Clinque is excellent! For blackheads, I liked Adrien Arpel Honey Almond Scrub -- it is expensive, but works great for once a week use.
