Does exfoliator get rid of dry, flaky skin on the face?

I have bought a gentle st ives apricot scrub for dry/sensitive skin. I have got really bad dry flaky skin on my cheeks and I was wondering if this will get rid of it? Thanks x

It will scub it off, but be sure to use a moisturizer afterwards to prevent it from become dry again! Good Luck!
Reply:well probably not because it is a body scrub not a face scrub....in some cases that could make it even worse. If you wanna get rid of the flakes on your face go to the drugstore and buy a face exfoliator scrub and an exfoliating lotion. Neutrogina has some really good choices for that!!!

Reply:I think it might make the problem worse...just be carefuul with exfoliating and scrubing especially if your have sensitive skin...st yves is well known for it's apricot exfoliant and it's a very good product but you might need something a little gentler...try spectro jel for sensitive skin(it's a soap-free skin cleanse),it will smooth you skin and clean it without being too harsh and worsen the problem!!
Reply:No it doesnt, exfoliator is used to clean pores and prevent spots and so on



Use St Ives radiance cleanser apricot cream wash. It will make your skin all smooth and refreshed
Reply:It will most certainly help remove the flaky skin BUT be sure to following up with a good moisturizer. Don't overdo exfoliating but occasionally is fine. Moisturizing is a daily necessity! Soon you will have sun-kissed cheeks!!
