What does Saint Ives Apricot Scrub Do?

I've heard its really good. Will it:

a. get rid of pimples and acne?

b. get rid of acne scars?

c. make your face smooth and bright?

d. prevent breakouts?

e. prevent wrinkles and aging?



I have combination?normal skin, will it help?

What does Saint Ives Apricot Scrub Do?
Well, i've been using it on and off for about fifteen years now. I love it. There are several different kinds: regular, which is exfoliating, blackhead and blemish, and firm and renew. Blackhead and blemish, well, obviously that's for acne prone skin. The firm and renew has alpha hydroxy, which does make your skin very nice. I use it on my arms for keratosis pylaris, and it has been the only thing that has helped at all for this.



So i've never heard about all this pore enlarging and tearing. Like I said, I like it a lot. It's cheap, and it's not tested on animals. And i've never found anything that exfoliates better.
Reply:Honestly, it did nothing for me. It's a good exfoliant though.
Reply:The little pieces of Apricot shell will rip your pores open. It is not noticeable at first. But after a couple of weeks you will see that your pores are actually bigger. And those tiny cuts on the sides of the pores can get infected and then you will really have a mess on your hands.
Reply:It will help with your acne. Maybe brighten up your skin.
Reply:I heard its too harsh and that it tears your skin without you realizing it. I used it at a friends house once and it did make my skin look nice though. I guess as long as you're really gentle with it on your face it should be alright and clean your face well enough to keep it healthy.
Reply:Ok, here is what I heard about the stuff... My modeling teacher said not to use it because it has broken apricot shells in it that scratch and damage your skin everytime you use it. You might not see the effects from them atfirst but over a period of time it will make your skin look like its ageing faster. I dont know if it is true or not, but I thought I would warn you just incase.
